Richmond Business Awards 2012

One of our favourite customers (OK – they are all our favourites) is Kew Village Market.  Just over 12 months ago we developed their brand, marketing materials, social media policy and website, and we’ve continued to work with them ever since; particularly Paul, who is often at the market at 7:00am on a Sunday morning helping set it all up.

Well, yesterday all the market’s hard work was recognised as they were commended in the “Best Charity or Not for Profit” category of the Richmond Business Awards 2012.

Congratulations!

Hilde and Paul from the Market Committee and David Sidanio (centre) from the Sponsors of the Award, Richmond Council for Voluntary Service

We have just designed and built a new website for Bettina Grönblom‘s consultancy Not Just For Profit®

This was a hugely satisfying project to be involved with as Bettina is a truly inspiring individual, as is her consultancy. She has been recognised by many senior dignitaries throughout the world as a trusted expert in the world of philanthropy and giving.  She wanted her site to be clean, simple and show the diverse cultures she continues to be involved with. Launched in 2012.

New packaging design for oogaa

As part of the overall oogaa branding project, we were asked to develop and design the packaging for their new range of innovative silicone baby feeding products. It was important to promote the fun, and safety aspects of oogaa – incorporating the animal characters which are the ‘oogaas’. We had to produce packaging for the new products, made from super safe silicone which could be seen and felt – and could be safely shipped internationally – and all within a tight budget.

But these designs aren’t just a giggle. On her journey to put her ideas into production, oogaa’s founder/product designer – Samantha Skolnik – unearthed some unappetising facts about the plastics commonly used to make babies’ feeding kit (cheap or pricey); with daily use they can break down and leach harmful chemicals – including phthalate, PVC and bisphenol A. It’s because of this potential health risk that toxic BPA, the substance that keeps plastic from shattering, is already banned in baby bottles (why not all feeding products?). Oogaa designs contain no such nasties…. Just launched in Hong Kong, the US…coming to the UK very soon! See www.oogaa.com
